One of the better mongo places in LA! Options were great, quick service, and everything came together quite tasty. Would def recommend this over any of those mall places.

This spot was more like a Mongolian bbq fast food version, perfect for students and people on the go. Price is moderate and food is good. Many options, 4 kinds of meat - beef, pork, chicken and lamb. Bean sprouts, broccoli, jalapeño, raw eggs that you can get and he will cook it for you, cilantro just to name a few. Different sauces, and on top of the display you can follow their suggestions and made sauce to your taste - from spicy to mild and moderate. They let you get two bowls one for meats and the other veggies and noddles. One person is working, so ones you are in he comes out shows you what to do (if it's your first time) and once you choose what you want he gets to cooking it for you. Overall, I liked it. They have inside and outside sitting, you can eat there or take it to go. When in the area I will come back here again.

I have known about Fresh Mongolian BBQ & Grill ever since I was a student at Los Angeles Valley College, which is right across from this restaurant. I eat here from time to time. Here is my breakdown of this place: Location & Parking: Located across Los Angeles Valley College, Mongolian BBQ & Grill is a small and very hidden "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant meaning you sometimes may be the only customer there. It is located in a plaza on a corner and parking is always available. Service Experience: Once inside, the owner greets you creating a welcoming atmosphere. He's attentive and helpful, particularly in refilling requested meats promptly. The restaurant follows a "Do It Yourself" concept where customers assemble their 2 bowls with a selection of meats, vegetables, noodles, and sauces. I usually see the owner most of the time when I'm there but all the staff are friendly (they have never been rude to me) and willing to offer guidance if needed for those who are new to the place. Note that additional charges apply for overfilled or more than 2 bowls. There is also a nearby hand sanitizer to sanitize your hands before and after handling tongs since they can be a little greasy. Menu and Food Selection: The restaurant's format allows customers to choose their preferred ingredients, providing clear instructions displayed above the selection bar. The noodles, vegetables, sauces, and egg fried rice are delicious, although the meat quality sometimes is not the best, occasionally proving difficult to chew. I have attached pictures of the food and menu. Budget-Friendly Experience: Despite the occasional issue with the meat texture, the overall value for the price is acceptable, especially considering the reasonable pricing. This restaurant provides a cost-effective alternative to mall-based Mongolian BBQ places, offering late hours compared to those typically found within malls which close pretty early. Overall Recommendation: For a budget-friendly Mongolian BBQ experience, this is a great choice. While the meat quality might vary, the noodles & vegetables, affordability, and late operating hours make it a worthwhile option for those seeking Mongolian BBQ outside mall settings. I love supporting small businesses and this is one of them! I am very surprised this restaurant is still operating after so many within this plaza have come and gone.

Prepared in front of you, to your liking -- you pick the ingredients. The staff is really helpful and kind. They provided free food for the 2 year old in our party. The place is a hole in the wall, but clean.

Update: I originally posted I thought it might be out of business because I couldn't find it. It was pointed out to me that it's not in the shopping center as mapped out, but rather on the street. So this shall correct that error.
